Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport indicate a Thursday, September 24 low near 51–52 °F under increasing cloud cover ahead of an incoming Pacific system, with rain likely by evening. This aligns with climatological norms for late September (average low ~51.5 °F) and reflects the seasonal shift toward stronger onshore flow and modest cooling after mid-month warmth. Model consensus across short-range guidance shows limited diurnal range due to marine influence and precipitation, keeping overnight minima in the low 50s rather than supporting either sub-45 °F radiational cooling or 64 °F+ warmth. The closely matched market odds around 52–53 °F, 45 °F or below, and 64 °F or higher highlight trader uncertainty over exact timing of the frontal passage and any local variations in urban heat or marine layer depth. Updated model runs and NWS briefings through Wednesday night will refine the precise minimum.
