Recent forecasts from Singapore's Meteorological Service and international models indicate a daily maximum near 32°C on September 22, consistent with the September climatological average high of 31.6–32°C at Changi. Afternoon thundery showers expected under southwest monsoon flow, combined with moderate humidity and southeasterly winds, are likely to limit peak heating, while recent early-September observations of multiple days above 34°C and a 35.3°C reading demonstrate that clearer periods can push temperatures higher. Trader emphasis on 32–33°C reflects model consensus favoring modest suppression from cloud cover and precipitation rather than extreme heat. Updated official guidance ahead of the date will refine these probabilities.
