Recent forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency and global models indicate Tokyo's overnight low on September 24 will likely settle near 20–22°C, driven by post-Typhoon Dujuan conditions featuring persistent cloud cover, elevated humidity near 85–95%, and light northerly winds that limit radiational cooling. These factors, combined with seasonal norms where late-September minima average around 18–20°C, position 21°C as the market favorite at 41% implied probability. Traders appear to weigh the reduced chance of clearer skies that could drop readings toward 19°C or below against the low risk of stronger warming from lingering moisture. Updated model runs and any JMA briefing on steering patterns or precipitation timing over the next 48 hours could shift these odds.
