The municipal elections in Pardubice on October 9–10, 2026, will determine the next mayor through council selection, keeping the race between incumbent Jan Nadrchal (ANO) and first deputy Jakub Rychtecký (Žijeme Pardubice coalition) tightly balanced near 48% and 46% respectively in trader consensus. Nadrchal’s movement benefits from recent governance continuity on strategy and procurement, while Rychtecký draws support from his long tenure managing budget, education, and social policy alongside coalition partners. Candidate list registrations concluded in early August amid limited new polling or major endorsements, with one minor grouping facing a court review over multi-district candidacies. Other listed contenders trail further behind, reflecting fragmented opposition and the decisive role of local turnout and coalition dynamics in the final weeks.
