Trader consensus heavily favors the 2.6M-2.8M bin at 72% for April 9 TSA checkpoint passenger throughput, driven by sustained spring break travel demand with U.S. airlines projecting a record 171 million passengers for March-April 2026. Recent daily screening numbers confirm this trend: April 2 (Wednesday) logged 2.71 million, April 3 (Thursday) 2.66 million, and April 6 (Sunday) 2.71 million, while weekdays averaged around 2.73 million early in the month despite dips like April 7's 2.21 million post-weekend. As a Wednesday akin to April 2's high volume, traders anticipate continuation absent major disruptions such as weather or airline capacity constraints, pricing adjacent bins like 2.4M-2.6M and 2.2M-2.4M near 50% and lower volumes below 50%.
