Trader consensus positions Avengers: Doomsday as the frontrunner at 46.5% implied probability for 2026's biggest opening weekend, propelled by explosive long-lead tracking reports from the past week and CinemaCon footage revealing Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, reigniting MCU event-movie hype comparable to Endgame's $357M debut. Spider-Man: Brand New Day trails at 28.5% buoyed by record trailer views and Tom Holland's franchise legs exceeding $4 billion cumulative. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie's fresh $131 million 3-day Easter launch set the year-to-date benchmark, yet family animated rivals like Toy Story 5 (26%) and Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (25%) draw bets on broader appeal. Dune: Messiah and late-year competitors hover near 25% amid holiday showdowns, with presale data and summer tracking pivotal shifts ahead.
