Latest National Weather Service guidance and local forecasts project a daytime high in the low 80s for Denver on September 18, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms possible under partly cloudy skies. This setup aligns with the tight clustering of market-implied odds between 80–83°F, reflecting modest uncertainty in peak temperature driven by variable cloud cover, storm timing, and surface heating rates. Afternoon convection could briefly limit insolation and cap readings near 80°F, while clearer breaks would favor the upper end of that range or slightly higher. The outlook sits modestly above the 1991–2020 mid-September average high near 78°F, with model consensus showing limited spread in maximum temperature solutions ahead of the 24-hour forecast window.
