This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Toronto Pearson Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 18 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=cyyz If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Official forecasts from Environment Canada and supporting models indicate a daytime high near 21–22°C for Toronto on September 18, 2026, under a mix of sun and cloud with northerly winds around 10–15 km/h.** This positioning aligns closely with the market's leading outcomes, where 21°C holds the strongest implied probability at 52.5% and 22°C follows at 29%, reflecting trader consensus on limited warming potential. Key drivers include persistent high pressure and a northerly flow that has kept conditions stable since earlier model runs, preventing significant heat buildup. Afternoon peaks are expected in the low 20s Celsius range, consistent with climatological norms (historical average high around 21.4°C) and current observations showing overnight lows near 14–15°C with gradual daytime recovery. Minor model variations and exact station readings (typically Pearson Airport) introduce the modest uncertainty captured in the 20°C (16%) and lower-probability tails, but no major shifts have altered the core outlook in the past 24–48 hours. Upcoming hourly updates from Environment Canada will refine the precise maximum as the day progresses.
