Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model consensus indicate mostly sunny conditions with highs in the mid-90s for Houston on September 24, driven by a persistent warm air mass and limited cloud cover under high pressure. This positions 94–95°F and adjacent bins as favored outcomes, consistent with observed upper-90s readings the prior two days and typical late-September climatology. Minor model spread on boundary-layer mixing and any afternoon sea-breeze effects introduces uncertainty that could shift the daily maximum by a degree or two, explaining why traders assign the highest implied probability to the 92–93°F range while still pricing a non-negligible chance of 96–97°F. Updated short-range guidance expected within 24 hours will likely refine these probabilities.
