Recent forecast models from sources like the German Weather Service and European ensembles point to a high of 24–25°C in Munich on September 15 under mostly clear skies, light easterly winds, and minimal precipitation, establishing this range as the market favorite. These conditions represent a notable departure from the 1991–2020 average high of 19.6°C, driven by a transient ridge of high pressure suppressing cloud cover and allowing greater solar heating. Model runs show tight consensus with low spread, though minor adjustments could occur with the next update cycle as the event approaches resolution within 48 hours. Trader positioning reflects this meteorological setup, with implied probabilities favoring outcomes near the upper end of the near-term guidance.
