Current National Weather Service guidance projects a high near 68°F for San Francisco on September 5 under mostly sunny skies with persistent onshore westerly flow, placing the 68–71°F bins as the clear market leaders at 66% combined implied probability. Cool Pacific sea-surface temperatures and the marine layer continue to moderate conditions near the historical September 5 average of 70.1°F, while recent model runs show limited warming potential absent any shift to offshore winds. Traders appear to weigh the narrow forecast spread and low precipitation odds against typical microclimate variability in official readings.
