Recent National Weather Service and NOAA forecasts indicate persistent southerly flow and high tropical moisture sustaining overnight lows in the mid-70s for Miami on September 23, with widespread thunderstorms limiting radiational cooling. This atmospheric setup aligns with the market-implied 50% probability on 69°F or below as the leading outcome, reflecting trader assessment of potential model variability or brief cooler intrusions amid otherwise typical late-September conditions where historical minima average near 74–77°F. Key upcoming factors include revised NWS model runs and official updates that could refine wind patterns or moisture levels affecting the daily minimum.
