Trader consensus heavily favors "No" at 92.5% implied probability for Elon Musk securing full custody of his son with Ashley St. Clair, driven by recent court filings where she alleges Musk was absent at the birth, met the child only a few times in late 2024, and maintains no role in daily care—positioning her firmly as the primary caregiver. Musk's January announcement to file over concerns about her softened stance on transgender issues has yielded no verified custody win three months later, amid her claims of reduced child support and financial strain. Courts rarely grant full custody to minimally involved parents without compelling evidence of harm, underscoring the steep legal hurdles. An upset would require Musk proving imminent risk to the child, such as confirmed intent to pursue gender transition, though no such developments have surfaced; next hearings could shift dynamics but reinforce status quo skepticism.
