The Federal District’s single Senate seat in Brazil’s October 2026 election remains highly competitive, with trader pricing reflecting a fragmented field and limited polling clarity. Michelle Bolsonaro’s early-August confirmation as the PL nominee, alongside her alignment with Governor Celina Leão’s re-election ticket and recent public reconciliation with Flávio Bolsonaro, has consolidated much of the right-wing vote but has not yet produced decisive separation from rivals such as Bia Kicis, Ibaneis Rocha, or left-leaning options like Erika Kokay. Recent party conventions, candidate transfers to the Federal District, and ongoing negotiations over alliances continue to shape positioning, while the presence of multiple viable contenders from overlapping conservative bases sustains uncertainty ahead of the October vote.
