Current forecast models from sources including the Malaysian Meteorological Department and international agencies indicate a daily maximum near 32–33°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 21, driven by typical equatorial convection, high humidity near 80%, and scattered thunderstorms that moderate afternoon heating. Recent observations show similar highs of 31–33°C amid ongoing monsoon patterns and haze-related cloud seeding, aligning with September climatological averages of 31–32°C. Trader consensus at 33°C (46.5%) and 34°C (29%) reflects this model agreement, with lower probabilities for extremes due to limited intensification potential and expected precipitation. Updated model runs and official MetMalaysia briefings tomorrow will refine resolution thresholds around peak temperature readings.
