Recent official forecasts from Environment Canada and aligned numerical models point to a Toronto overnight low near 10–12°C on September 20 amid clearing skies, light northeasterly winds, and minimal cloud cover after morning showers, supporting the market’s clustered probabilities around 14°C and 18°C-plus outcomes. Model spread arises mainly from small differences in predicted dew-point depression and boundary-layer mixing, which can shift the minimum by 2–3°C depending on exact timing of radiational cooling. Historical September climatology shows typical lows of 11–13°C, so current conditions align closely with seasonal norms yet leave room for upside surprises if winds remain elevated or downside if clearer, calmer air develops. Updated model runs and Environment Canada briefings tonight will likely tighten the range ahead of resolution.
