Incumbent Letitia James holds an 88.5% implied probability in the New York Attorney General election market due to her established position as a two-term Democrat in a state with consistent Democratic statewide success and her unopposed June 2026 primary. Saritha Komatireddy, the Republican nominee and former federal prosecutor, sits at 6.9% after securing her uncontested primary and receiving a Trump endorsement in August 2026, though New York has not elected a Republican to the office in over three decades. Recent Siena polling showed James leading 54% to 36%, reflecting incumbency advantages and limited shifts from Komatireddy’s law-and-order campaign focus. The race heads to November 3, 2026, with trader consensus aligning closely to historical base rates for the office in this environment.
