Houston Astros hold a 2-0 series lead over the Colorado Rockies after narrow 7-6 victories in Games 1 and 2 on April 14-15 at Daikin Park, snapping an eight-game skid for Houston while extending Colorado's five-game losing streak and road futility (2-9 away). Astros' home strength (6-2 record) and clutch hitting from Christian Walker have overwhelmed a Rockies lineup averaging just 4.0 runs per game recently, contrasting their earlier three-game sweep of Houston at Coors Field. Key matchup pits Rockies starter Tomoyuki Sugano against Astros' Lance McCullers, with Houston's infield hampered by Jeremy Peña's hamstring strain and pitching depth tested by Hunter Brown's shoulder issue on the 15-day IL. Warm 80-degree weather favors offense in this interleague finale.
