Ship 39 completed cryoproof and full-duration static fire testing on April 15, 2026—the first for a V3 upper stage—while Booster 19 underwent propellant loading and engine startups, with both vehicles rolled out for final checks as of April 12. Elon Musk's April 3 update pegged liftoff 4-6 weeks out, though recent reports point to early-to-mid May amid minor delays. Key upgrades emphasize structural reinforcements for future tower catches, enhancing rapid reusability critical for NASA Artemis missions and Mars ambitions, with FAA licensing and weather as primary near-term risks.
