Paula Badosa holds a clear edge in trader consensus for her first-round Porsche Tennis Grand Prix matchup against Eva Lys, driven by superior recent clay-court form, including a 6-3, 6-4 upset over Maria Sakkari in Charleston last week before a straight-sets loss to Anna Kalinskaya. The Spaniard leads their head-to-head 1-0 (6-1, 6-3 grass win in Berlin 2025) and reached the Stuttgart semifinals previously on indoor clay, suiting her powerful baseline game. Home wildcard Lys gains crowd support but enters off an early Charleston exit, ranked around No. 78 versus Badosa's climbing top-110 status amid injury recovery; both report full fitness with no late withdrawals.
