Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for San Francisco on September 24 points to a daytime high in the low-to-mid 70s under partly cloudy skies with moderate onshore westerly flow, consistent with the market's heaviest probability mass on 72–75 °F. Marine-layer cloud cover and the strength of the sea breeze remain the dominant variables that could cap the peak near 70–71 °F or allow brief clearing to push readings into the mid-70s. Historical September averages near 71 °F and the low chance of significant inland heat advection keep warmer or cooler extremes at low implied probabilities. Updated model runs and morning observations tomorrow will refine the exact maximum before market resolution.
