Martin Damm's higher ATP ranking (No. 109) and solid hard court momentum position him as the clear favorite against qualifier Jacob Fearnley (No. 346) in this Miami Open first-round clash, justifying the 64.5% implied probability. Damm enters off a Phoenix Challenger semifinal run last week, showcasing improved serve hold percentages (88%) and baseline aggression suited to the fast Miami courts, while Fearnley grinded through three qualifying wins but faces a step up against Damm's experience. No injuries reported for either, and their lack of head-to-head tilts odds toward the American's home-crowd edge and 60% win rate on hard courts this year versus Fearnley's sub-50% at ATP level. Trader consensus reflects this experience gap amid Miami's unpredictable conditions.
