Fajing Sun, ranked around No. 250, enters the second round of the Wuning 2 Challenger on hard courts as the clear form player after a dominant 6-2, 6-1 first-round win over Tai Sach, building on his semifinal run at Wuning 1 last week where he upset higher seeds before falling to Pavel Kotov. Uzbek qualifier Khumoun Sultanov, outside the top 800, earned his spot with gritty qualifying victories—7-6(6), 6-3 over Sach and 6-3, 7-6(4) against Aoran Wang—showing resilience but facing a steep ranking gap in their head-to-head debut. Sun's home-country edge in China and superior recent hard-court results shape trader consensus toward him, though Sultanov's momentum could fuel an upset in best-of-three sets. No injury concerns reported ahead of the match.
