**Forecast models show Austin highs on September 26 clustered in the low-to-mid 90s with modest spread, aligning with the market’s tight distribution around 92–97°F.** Multiple sources, including GFS-derived outputs and NWS guidance, project afternoon temperatures near 93–96°F under partly to mostly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and low precipitation chances (under 10%). This reflects a continuation of the late-September warm pattern, where average highs are around 88°F but recent days have run 5–10°F above normal amid a persistent upper-level ridge. Key differentiating factors include minor variations in cloud cover, boundary-layer mixing, and dew points. Increased humidity or thicker clouds could cap the high near 92–93°F by limiting solar heating, while clearer skies or stronger downslope flow might push readings to 96–97°F. Ensemble spread remains modest this close to the event, with limited upside potential for 100°F+ given the seasonal timing and lack of strong warm advection. Updated model runs and NHC/NOAA short-range guidance over the next 48 hours will likely tighten the range ahead of market resolution.

This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
