Current forecasts from multiple models indicate Tokyo’s September 23 high will likely fall in the mid-20s Celsius, with trader consensus centered on 24–25°C amid widespread cloud cover and light rain chances that limit solar heating. Remnants of heavy precipitation from September 21–22 have cooled surface temperatures and increased humidity, while northeasterly flow and high pressure building offshore keep conditions overcast through the day. Historical late-September averages near 26°C provide context, yet the present steering pattern and model agreement favor subdued maxima. Final Japan Meteorological Agency guidance and hourly observations on the 23rd will determine the precise peak relative to these thresholds.
