Forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a high near 76–78°F for Los Angeles on September 20, driven by persistent marine layer clouds, patchy morning fog, and moderate onshore southwest flow that limits daytime heating along the coast. This aligns closely with the historical average high of 75.9°F for the date and positions the 76–77°F bin as the market leader at 56.5% implied probability, followed by 74–75°F at 27.5%. Traders appear to weigh the consensus guidance from official sources against typical September variability, with lower odds on extremes reflecting stable atmospheric conditions and minimal risk of significant warming or cooling before resolution.
