This setup, typical for late September, limits daytime heating through cloud cover and cooler Pacific air advection, aligning with the market's strong preference for 76-77°F. Recent model consensus from NWS and private sources shows minimal warming trend ahead of the date, with historical averages near 76°F providing additional context for trader positioning. Updated observations on the 20th confirm similar conditions holding, reducing upside risk for higher bins.
