Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a rainy, overcast pattern for São Paulo on September 22 driven by a passing frontal system, with daytime highs most likely reaching 21–24°C amid widespread showers and thunderstorms. Persistent cloud cover and precipitation limit solar heating while advecting cooler maritime air, keeping maxima well below the September climatological average of 25–26°C. This aligns with the market’s heavy weighting toward 24°C or below, reflecting trader assessment of official guidance and ensemble consensus. Upcoming model runs and updated observations from INMET or regional agencies over the next 48 hours will determine whether any clearing allows brief warming toward 25–26°C.
