Recent official forecasts from models including ECMWF and GFS, along with KNMI-aligned guidance, indicate a high near 18–19°C for Amsterdam on September 21 under stable high pressure and northwesterly flow. Mostly cloudy skies with light winds and minimal precipitation risk support this range, aligning closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 18.5°C. The market’s strong consensus on 19°C reflects these consistent model outputs and limited day-to-day variability, while the smaller probabilities for 20°C or higher account for possible brief afternoon warming if cloud cover thins more than expected. Updated runs overnight or early on the 21st will provide the final observational tiebreaker before resolution.
