Recent forecasts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and international models indicate a maximum temperature of 31–32°C in Karachi on September 9, driven by persistent moisture from the Arabian Sea, lingering monsoon influences, and moderating sea breezes that limit daytime heating. Partly cloudy skies and light drizzle patterns observed earlier in the week have suppressed stronger warming, aligning with historical September averages near 31°C for the coastal city. Ensemble guidance shows low spread around these values, with minimal risk of outliers above 33°C or below 30°C under current steering patterns. Updated model runs and official briefings in the next 48 hours will refine the exact peak before market resolution.
