Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a high near 88–90°F for Miami on August 27, with mostly sunny skies giving way to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms under southeast flow. High humidity and heat indices exceeding 100°F support the market's emphasis on the 90–91°F bin, as typical late-summer sea-breeze and convective patterns often cap afternoon maxima in the low 90s rather than allowing stronger heating. Minor model differences in storm timing and coverage introduce limited upside risk for 92°F or above, while persistent cloud debris or earlier convection could hold readings closer to 88–89°F. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon observations will refine these probabilities before resolution.
