Recent forecasts for Panama City, Panama, indicate a highest temperature near 29–31°C on September 6 amid the wet season, with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected under the influence of the monsoon trough. These conditions introduce key uncertainty: afternoon convection and cloud cover can suppress peak heating by limiting solar insolation, while breaks in rain or thinner cloud decks allow temperatures to reach the low 30s. Model consensus points to highs in this narrow band, consistent with historical September baselines around 30°C, though small shifts in storm timing or coverage could tip the daily maximum by 1–2°C. Trader sentiment reflects this narrow range of outcomes, with the closest probabilities clustered on 30–32°C reflecting the limited differentiation in current guidance.
