**Official forecasts position the highest temperature in Seattle on August 30 around the low 70s or upper 60s.** National Weather Service guidance calls for highs in the mid-60s to lower 70s under mostly cloudy skies with light winds, while models such as those referenced by WeatherBug and international services converge on maxima near 67–71 °F. Persistent marine-layer cloud cover and modest onshore flow are suppressing strong daytime heating, keeping conditions close to seasonal norms after a cooler Saturday. Historical averages for the date sit near 75 °F, but current observations and ensemble runs show limited potential for clearing that would allow temperatures to reach the mid-70s or higher. With resolution based on official NWS observations, trader consensus has clustered on the 68–71 °F range as the most probable outcome ahead of any final model updates overnight.
