Recent polling from July shows incumbent Senator Eduardo Braga (MDB) leading Amazonas Senate intentions at around 25%, with federal deputy Capitão Alberto Neto (PL) and former governor Wilson Lima (União Brasil) clustered near 15% in the battle for the second seat. The field remains fragmented following candidate confirmations in early August, including Braga, Plínio Valério (PSDB), Neto, Lima, and several lower-profile contenders, which spreads voter support and leaves substantial room for undecideds and late shifts ahead of the October 4 single-round vote. Traders price the 1st-place outcome tightly because no candidate has established a commanding lead in available surveys, and the multi-candidate dynamic plus limited post-July data keep probabilities fluid until further polling or campaign events clarify momentum.
