Challenger Tomas Martin Etcheverry, riding a 12-2 clay record this year including the Rio title and recent three-set victories over Grigor Dimitrov and Terence Atmane, shows resilience in rallies but faces a stylistic mismatch against Alcaraz's superior speed, power, and return pressure—their lone head-to-head a straight-sets Alcaraz win in 2020. No major injury concerns reported for either, though Alcaraz's post-Miami recovery adds minor watchpoints amid favorable weather forecasts. Trader consensus reflects Alcaraz's historical edge on this surface.
