Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Denver on September 9, 2026, centers on a high near 82–88 °F under partly to mostly sunny skies with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. This range reflects a modest cool-down from early-September warmth (highs in the low-to-mid 90s) as northerly flow and higher pressure build in, limiting daytime heating while keeping conditions above the 81.5 °F long-term average. Ensemble spreads and local observations support the tight clustering around 82–83 °F, with lower probabilities assigned to cooler or significantly warmer outcomes given stable steering patterns and limited moisture return. Updated model runs tonight and tomorrow morning will refine the exact maximum before the market resolves.
