Recent heavy rain and persistent cloud cover from a strengthening low-pressure system over southeastern Brazil have suppressed daytime heating in São Paulo, keeping maximum temperatures cooler than the September climatological average of 26–27°C. Official forecasts from sources including the Met Office and local monitoring indicate highs of 21–23°C on September 10 amid widespread showers and thunderstorms, with high humidity and reduced solar insolation limiting warming. These conditions align with the closely clustered market-implied probabilities favoring 21–23°C outcomes, reflecting trader consensus on the dominant influence of ongoing instability and limited insolation rather than any rapid clearing trend.
