Persistent southerly flow and clear skies under a strong high-pressure ridge are keeping overnight lows elevated across North Texas, with National Weather Service and model consensus pointing to a minimum near 80–82 °F for Dallas on September 9. This places the most likely outcome squarely in the 80–83 °F range that currently carries the highest implied probabilities. The pattern reflects continued warm-air advection and high dew points that limit radiational cooling, resulting in readings well above the late-summer climatological average low of roughly 73 °F. With no frontal passages or significant cloud cover expected before sunrise, forecast updates through tonight are unlikely to shift the central tendency outside the current 78–85 °F window that dominates trader positioning.
