Jannik Sinner, world No. 2 on a 16-match win streak after Indian Wells and Miami Masters 1000 titles, holds an 8-4 head-to-head edge over No. 3 Alexander Zverev entering their Rolex Monte Carlo Masters semi-final on red clay, with eight straight victories boosting trader consensus toward the Italian despite his recent admission of struggles and physio visit after a three-set Round of 16 win over Tomas Machac. Sinner dominated Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-4 in quarters amid minor health concerns, while Zverev, a clay specialist and past Monte Carlo finalist, grinded through a three-set quarter-final thriller against Joao Fonseca 7-5, 6-7, 6-3 following solid straight-set wins, brushing off an injury scare. Zverev's surface history tempers Sinner's momentum in this ATP Masters 1000 clash.
