Under the U.S.-brokered ceasefire and UN Security Council Resolution 2803, the multinational ISF is tasked with monitoring the truce, supporting aid, and aiding a transitional Palestinian administration, yet entry remains confined to non-Israeli-controlled zones, subject to individual Israeli approvals, and initially capped at roughly 200 personnel from contributors such as Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania. Persistent gaps in Hamas disarmament, Israeli expansion of the “Yellow Line” buffer, and stalled second-phase implementation continue to constrain larger-scale involvement, while upcoming Israeli elections and Board of Peace pilot zones could shift timelines.
