Current NWS and model guidance points to mostly sunny skies and highs of 86–92°F for Denver on September 3, with the tightest market clustering on 90–93°F reflecting uncertainty in the precise peak. Light southerly or variable winds, minimal cloud cover, and a stable high-pressure pattern favor strong daytime heating at Denver’s elevation, pushing temperatures several degrees above the 84°F climatological average without triggering convective cooling or moisture influx. Recent model runs show little day-to-day shift, though small differences in afternoon mixing or boundary-layer moisture could tip the maximum between the 90–91°F and 92–93°F bins. Updated NWS forecasts and afternoon observations will provide the clearest resolution signals before market close.
