Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a cooler, drier airmass has settled over Atlanta, driving forecast overnight lows for September 26 into the mid-50s °F under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and light northerly winds. This marks an early seasonal shift, with daytime highs expected in the lower 80s following several days of gradual cooling. Ensemble spread remains modest, centering the most likely range near 55–58 °F, while the closely matched market-implied probabilities for extremes reflect residual uncertainty in boundary-layer mixing and exact minimum timing. No significant forecast shifts are anticipated before resolution.
