**Trader consensus on the 72-73°F range (52% implied probability) for the August 29, 2026 low at Los Angeles International Airport aligns closely with the official NOAA minimum of 74°F recorded at 5:27 AM.** Persistent marine influence, elevated dew points from a warm Pacific, and weak onshore flow limited overnight radiative cooling amid an ongoing heatwave. High humidity—reaching record levels regionally—kept temperatures elevated compared to typical late-August lows near 65°F. Recent model runs and National Weather Service observations confirmed minimal cooling potential, with the observed 74°F high for the daily minimum reflecting these conditions rather than any sharp shift in steering patterns or cloud cover.
