FP secured a commanding plurality of 22 seats in Peru’s newly restored 60-seat Senate following the April 12–13, 2026 general election, far outpacing the next largest party at 14 seats and establishing a clear lead in the fragmented contest. Official tallies and seat allocations, confirmed by electoral authorities, reflect strong performance by Keiko Fujimori’s party amid a broad field of contenders and the return to bicameralism. Trader consensus assigns overwhelming probability to FP as the Senate election winner, consistent with the verified results. Late challenges, recounts, or annulment claims tied to first-round logistical issues could theoretically shift the outcome, though such developments remain unlikely given the margin and institutional confirmation process.
