Bangladesh enters the three-match ODI series against New Zealand as a slim trader favorite at 56.5% implied probability, buoyed by home advantage at spin-friendly Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka and strong recent form, including a 2-1 series win over Pakistan and victories against West Indies. New Zealand fields a largely inexperienced squad led by Tom Latham, hampered by absences of seniors like Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, and Rachin Ravindra due to IPL/PSL commitments, plus injuries to Kristian Clarke (replaced by Ben Lister) and Ben Sears sidelined for ODIs. Bangladesh retained their winning XI from Pakistan, with pacers Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, and Nahid Rana returning from PSL, enhancing depth on familiar pitches where they hold a solid head-to-head record in recent home encounters.
