No. 9 seed Mirra Andreeva holds a commanding edge entering her Round of 16 clash with No. 95 Alycia Parks at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix on indoor clay, fresh off a gritty comeback win over defending champion Jelena Ostapenko—overturning a 4-1 third-set deficit just 12 hours ago—and her second WTA title of 2026 in Linz last week. Andreeva boasts an 18-6 record this year and a dominant 6-0, 6-1 head-to-head victory over Parks in the 2025 US Open first round. Parks, a qualifier who edged Noma Noha Akugue in the previous round, sits at 13-11 YTD amid inconsistent results like an early Charleston exit, testing her power game against Andreeva's superior consistency and clay prowess.
