Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Los Angeles on September 4 indicate morning low clouds and fog transitioning to sunny conditions with highs in the mid-70s to low-80s°F, driven by a typical early-September marine layer and moderate southwest onshore flow. This setup aligns with the historical average high near 77°F and recent observations, including a 76°F reading on September 1 at LAX, positioning the 76-77°F bin as the strongest market-implied outcome. Limited warming signals and no heat-wave indicators keep probabilities concentrated in the 74-79°F range, with traders incorporating forecast uncertainty around exact peak timing and localized inland versus coastal variations.
