An approaching deep upper-level low from the northeast Pacific is driving trader consensus toward a 66-67°F high in Seattle on September 2, as the system increases cloud cover, southeasterly flow, and measurable rainfall that limits daytime heating. National Weather Service guidance and ensemble models indicate highs in the mid-60s to lower 70s amid widespread precipitation and gusty winds, well below the early-September climatological average near 74°F. This setup favors the 66-67°F bin at 38% implied probability over warmer outcomes, with recent model runs showing limited variability in peak temperatures due to persistent overcast conditions. Updated NWS forecasts and any last-minute shifts in the low's track remain the key near-term catalysts ahead of market resolution.
