Trader consensus overwhelmingly backs the Los Angeles Dodgers (85%) as 2026 NL West champions, fueled by their star-studded core—Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto—locked in via long-term deals, plus their 2024 World Series win and league-high payroll enabling sustained dominance. The San Diego Padres (10%) remain credible challengers with Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts, and Jackson Merrill's emergence, though pitching depth and financial limits temper expectations after roster tweaks. San Francisco Giants (8.1%) gain traction from Blake Snell's return and Willy Adames signing, injecting rotation stability, while Arizona Diamondbacks (6.6%) leverage Corbin Burnes acquisition and young arms despite injury histories; Rockies (3.5%) lag amid perennial struggles. Recent extensions and trades solidify Dodgers' edge, but division volatility persists.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 National League West division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
