Ongoing severe weather disruptions, including low clouds grounding flights at Northeast hubs like Boston Logan, New York-area airports, and Philadelphia, alongside thunderstorms in Houston and snow in Salt Lake City, drove 425 total US cancellations today per FlightAware data, primarily at Chicago O'Hare and Dallas-Fort Worth. Forecasts indicate persistent conditions into April 4 amid Easter weekend peak travel volumes, elevating risks at major airports, yet trader consensus holds "Yes" at 50% due to uncertainty over whether morning clearings or intensifying storms will dominate. Updated FAA reports, real-time FlightAware tallies, or airline waivers could tip odds sharply toward exceeding 400 cancellations or falling short.
